摘要
根据恩格尔消费理论与模型,结合我国农产品数量与质量需求的现实国情,利用国家统计局关于农产品消费状况的相关统计数据,对我国城乡居民各类农产品的消费支出、购买数量、消费质量与收入水平之间的关系进行了深入细致的实证分析。
As incomes rise, Chinese consumers are changing their diets and demanding greater quality, convenience and safety in food. Food expenditures grow faster than quantities purchased, suggesting that consumers with higher incomes purchase more expensive foods. The demand for quality by high-income households has fueled recent grouth in modem food retail and sales of premium-prices food and beverage products. Food expenditures and incomes have grown much more slowly for rural and low-income urban households.
