非英语专业外教口语课堂教学存在的问题:调查与分析 被引量:8

A Study of the Problems in the Classrooms of Oral English for Non-English-Major Students Conducted by English Native Speaking Teachers

摘要 本文采用听课、学生日记、问卷、及面谈的方法对非英语专业大学生在外籍教师口语教学课堂中存在的问题进行调查分析。调查结果显示:多数学生认为英语口语能力提高不明显,对课堂口语活动的积极性不高;口语学习困难具体表现在词汇量缺乏和表达能力差等综合语言能力方面;非语言能力的社会心理因素对学生的口语学习起到不可低估的作用;对外教口语课的有效规划应该引起我们的高度重视。 Drawing on oral class observation, learners' oral class diaries, questionnaire and interviews, this paper explores the problems existed in the classrooms of oral English for Non-English-Major students conducted by English native speaking teachers. The diary and questionnaire data indicate that most students felt their oral English competence had not been improved and that they were not active in the class. Students' oral English learning difficulties lay mainly in their linguistic competence, especially their lack of vocabulary and poor expressive ability. Non-linguistic socio-psychological factors also substantially affected oral English learning. Therefore, attention should be paid to the effective design of oral English class conducted by native English speaking teachers.
