摘要
运用现代经济管理学SWOT方法,对莆田市承办第十四届省运动会进行了全面的分析。认为莆田承办第十四届省运动会具备的优势因素有:以行政为主导的筹备机构,良好的群众体育基础,光荣的竞技体育历史,深厚的文化底蕴以及承办过大型集会等;存在的困难有:缺乏承办大型综合性体育赛事的经验,体育经营管理人才不足,体育场馆功能落后,竞技体育项目发展不平衡等。旨在为当地政府更好地"扩大优势,化解困难,把握机遇和应对挑战"提供理论参考。
With SWOT,a comprehensive analysis was made of conditions in Putian City for hosting the 14th provincial games. It is suggested that there exist both advantages and disadvantages, such as the possession of an executive-led preparatory group, favorable foundation of mass sports, glorious history of competitive sports, and profound sports culture on one hand, and the lack of experience in hosting largescaled comprehensive sports event, and shortage of management talents and sports facilities on the other hand. The paper aims to provide theoretical reference for the local government in the preparation for the event.
