The Name "Wu Wang Di Ri Ding" was firstly discovered in the Inscriptions on the Bronze Vessel "Ying Gong Ding". "Wu Wang Di"(珷帝)is King Wu in Zhou Dynasty, not King Wen. "Di"(帝) means Kao(考), rather than the rite of "Di" ( 禘). "Ri Ding" (日丁) is King Wu' s name of Ri Gan ( 日干名 ). Those indicate that the governors in the early Western Zhou Dynasty accepted the Shang rite The Zhou governors had to carry out certain policies to access Yin nobles' lives in light of the powerful Yin nobles and cuhures. The reason why "Wu Di Ri Ding" was used in the late Western Zhou Dynasty lies in the fact that the Ying State(应国) attempt to unify Yin Ba Shi(殷八师) to conquer the enemies the Chu State and Huai Yi Tribe.
