The law basis of inviting bid of survey and design, the classification and characteristics of inviting bid of survey and design, the compilation of files of inviting bid of survey and design and determining of tendering assessment method were introduced, which is aimed at introducing competition, improving design quality, shortening design period, and finally improving the investment benefit of building engineering items by inviting bid of survey and design.
