摘要
文章从现代汉语领域的新景观阐述了英语——"语言帝国主义者"的基本概念、发展历史和当今的国际地位,分析了其对现代汉语音、形、义三个层面的影响以及在现代汉语中的表现形式;说明了有生命力的语言是从来不怕外来语的"入侵"。任何语言都不是自给自足的,时不时要搀杂一些"异物"才能丰富自己、发展自己。
The paper gives the definition of Linguistic Imperialism--English; illustrates its development and international role; and reveals its phonetics, morphology and semantics in modern Chinese, and how to express in Chinese. Any living language is not afraid of foreign languages＇ invasion. Not a language is self-sufficient, it often borrows from other languages to enrich and develop itself.
