Determination of maleic acid in fumaric acid as food additives by ion exchange chromatography

摘要 目的:建立离子交换色谱法检测食品添加剂富马酸中杂质马来酸。方法:样品用流动相溶解定容后,采用LC-SCX离子交换色谱柱(25cm×4.6mm,5μm)分离,以0.005mol/L硫酸水溶液-乙腈(60:40)为流动相,流速0.3mL/min,检测波长208nm。结果:样品中富马酸与马来酸分离度达到3.1,在0.1~5.0mg/L范围内,马来酸峰面积与浓度呈良好的线性关系(r=0.9999),最低检出限达到0.05g/kg,重现性良好。结论:该法简便、快速、灵敏、准确,可用于食品添加剂富马酸中马来酸的检测。 Objective: To establish a method for the determination of maleic acid in fumaric acid by ion exchange chromatography(IEC). Methods: Samples were dissoluted by mobile phase directly. Chromatographic analysis was performed on a LC-SCX (25cm×4.6mm, 5 μm) column eluted with 0.005 mol/L sulfuric acidacetonitrile (60:40) at the flow rate of 0.3 mL/min, and detection at 208 nm, Results: The separation degree between fumaric acid and maleic acid was 3.1. The calibration curve was linear at the range of 0.1-5.0 mg/L with good precision and accuracy. The detection limit was 0.05 g/kg. Conslusion: The method was simple, rapid, sensitive and accurate. It's suitable for determination of maleic acid in fumaric acid as food additives.
