摘要
节约型社会中"节约"具有双重含义。一方面是相对浪费而言的节约;另一方面是在生产和消费过程中,用尽可能少的资源、能源,创造相同的财富甚至更多的财富,最大限度地充分利用回收各种废弃物。作为社会公民的图书馆员工,深刻理解"节约"的含义,统筹兼顾其双重性,顺应节约型社会呼唤,既要在工作、学习和生活中积极参与节约型社会建设,又要履行教育和传播知识的职能,呼吁广大读者及社会公民投身于节约型社会的构建。
The word ＂conservation＂ among ＂conservation-oriented society＂ has two senses： one is reducing waste and saving resources, the other is using as few resources as possible to create the equal wealth or more wealth during production and consumption and making ultimate use of and recovering valuable wastes. As citizens, with the call of conservation-oriented society, the library staff must understand the senses of ＂conservation＂ completely and give attention to the two senses. Not only they selves take an active part in building conservation-oriented society in their work, study and life, but also they perform their functions of education and spread of knowledge and call readers and public to participate in conservation-oriented society construction.
