摘要
对于PDP(plasma display panels)驱动集成电路,为了减小芯片面积和提高开关速度而提出了一种厚栅LDMOSFET(later-al double diffused MOSFETs)这种新颖的高压输出电路。同常规的电路相比,在同样的下降时间下,利用所提出的输出电路,PDP驱动集成电路的芯片面积减少了35%;在同样的芯片面积下,当电源电压为180V,负载电容为100pF时,所提出的输出电路的下降时间比常规的的电路要快2.5倍。
A novel high voltage output circuit with thick gate LDMOSFETs is proposed to reduce the chip size and to improve the switching speed for the plasma display panels(PDP) driver IC.The chip size of the PDP driver IC using the proposed output circuit is reduced by 35% with a similar falling time compared with the conventional one.The falling time of the proposed output circuit is about 2.5 ties faster than that of the conventional one under the same size when the supply voltage and load capacitance are 180V and 100 pF,respectively.
