摘要
主要根据第二语言词汇习得的研究成果,提出了英汉双语心理词典表征结构的新模式。在论证熟练程度对双语心理词典表征影响的基础上,指出双语心理词典的表征模式不能从双语者的二语整体水平出发来分类,而应以双语者对一个二语单词的熟练程度来确定。据此,提出了英汉双语心理词典表征结构的新观点:双语心理词典是由一个个熟练程度不一的单词组成的,低熟练度单词的表征方式为一语词项连接模型,中熟练度单词的为一语语义中介模型,高熟练度单词的为二语语义直达模型。任何一个英汉双语者的心理词典都同时具有上述三种表征模型。
The paper mainly explores the lexical representations in bihngual mental lexicon based on the current studies with reference to second language vocabulary acquisition. After discussing the influence of famiharity on lexical representations in mental lexicon, it argues that the lexical representations in bilingual mental lexicon may be treated according to the learners'familiarity with individual second language lexical item, rather than according to their familiarity with the overall proficiency of second language, and comes to the conclusion that in every bilingual mental lexicon, there exists three different representation models at the same time L1 word forms hnking model, L1 word concepts mediating model and L2 word concepts direct -reaching model, roughly corresponding to the three categories of learners'vocabulary in their minds ——low - familiar words, intermediate - famil- iar words and high - familiar words.
