Effects of Natural Plant Extracts on Growth Performance and Slaughter Characteristics in Meat-type Ducks

摘要 采用单因子试验设计,研究了天然植物提取物对生长后期肉鸭生长性能和屠宰性能的影响。选择健康、体重相近(659·05±8·04g)的14日龄天府肉鸭120只(公母各半),随机分为5个处理(4个试验组和1个对照组),每个处理4个重复,每个重复6只鸭(公母各半)。基础日粮中分别添加37·5、75、150和225mg/kg植物提取物即为相应的试验日粮,对照组饲喂基础日粮。试验期28d。结果表明:①除225mg/kg组降低采食量外,其余各组对采食量的影响不显著;②日粮中添加不同剂量植物提取物均提高了肉鸭试验各期的生长速度和饲料转化效率,与对照组相比,37·5,75,150和225mg/kg植物提取物分别提高全期ADG6·30%(P<0·05),7·07%(P<0·05),9·62%(P<0·01)和5·28%(P<0·05),分别降低全期F/G4·60%(P<0·05),10·73%(P<0·01),8·81%(P<0·01)和14·56%(P<0·01)。回归分析表明,全期ADG随植物提取物添加剂量呈显著二次曲线(P<0·05)上升,当添加剂量为132·75mg/kg时,试验全期增重速度最大,达86·8g/d;全期F/G随添加剂量增加呈极显著二次曲线下降(P<0·01);③植物提取物显著改善肉鸭的屠宰性能,显著提高瘦肉率(P<0·05),极显著降低腹脂沉积(P<0·01),且随添加剂量增加呈极显著二次曲线关系变化(P<0·001);④植物提取物在生长后期肉鸭日粮中的适宜添加剂量为150mg/kg。结果提示,植物提取物可通过提高饲料利用效率显著改善生长后期肉鸭的生长性能和屠宰性能,且存在剂量效应。 A one-factor experiment was designed to investigate the effects of plant extracts on growth performance and slaughter characteristics in meat-type ducks in the late growth stage. 120 healthy 14 d Tian-Fu meat-type ducks weighing 659. 05 ± 8. 04 g with similar consanguinity were chosen and allotted randomly to 5 treatments ,4 replicates in each treatment and 6 ducks per replicate (3 males and 3 females). The basal experimental diet was corn and soya bean meal containing 2.9 Mcal ME/kg and 18% CP. Ducks were fed basal diet ,basal diet + 37.5 mg/kg plant extracts ,basal diet + 75 mg/kg plant extracts,basal diet + 150 mg/kg plant extracts,basal diet + 225 mg/kg plant extracts respectively. The experiment lasted for 28 d. The results showed that:(1)except 225 mg/kg decreased feed intake, others had no significant influence on feed intake;(2)supplementation with plant extracts could improve growth rate and feed efficiency in each stage of experiment; compared with the control group ,37.5,75,150 and 225 mg/kg plant extracts increased ADG of the whole period by 6. 30% ( P 〈 0. 05 ) ,7.07% ( P 〈 0. 05 ) ,9. 62% ( P 〈 0. 01 ) and 5. 28% ( P 〈 0.05 ) respectively ; decreased F/G of the whole period by 4. 60% ( P 〈 0. 05 ), 10. 73 % ( P 〈 0. 01 ), 8. 81% ( P 〈 0.01 ) and 14. 56% ( P 〈 0. 01 )respectively;The result from regression analysis showed that with the increasing of plant extracts supplementation level, ADG of the whole period significantly increased as quadric curve( P 〈 0. 05 ) , and with supplementation of 132. 75 mg/kg, weight gain rate of the whole period reached the maximum, up to 86. 8 g/d ; F/G of the whole period significantly decreased as quadric curve ( P 〈 0. 01 ) with the increasing of supplementation.
