This article introduces the basic principle and features of acoustic emission testing, 100 m^3 LPG vessel by Acoustic Emission Testing Application example explain the acoustic emission testing implementation process and the conclusion of analysis, because of its simple, economic, high sensitivity, and "dynamic" defect characteristics, it has developed into metal pressure vessels safety assessment testing and the main one of the NDT methods.
