摘要
通过对某种英语教材教师用书的一些英汉参考译文的分析,阐明译者只有保持严谨的态度,译文才能够理想这一简单而又深刻的道理,呼吁译者在进行翻译时始终保持一丝不苟的良好翻译习惯,做到对译文读者负责、对原文作者有所交代。
Through analysis on some E/C translations in a Teacher＇s Book to an English textbook, this article holds it unquestionably true that faithful translations cannot be achieved without translators＇ severity, and appeals for translators＇ sustained scrupulous translation habit so as to be responsible both for writers and for translation readers.
