摘要
‘文椰2号’是采用混系连续选择与定向跟踪筛选方法从‘马来亚黄矮’椰子中选育出的新品种。植株矮，果皮黄色鲜艳，椰肉细腻松软，椰水清甜，适宜作为鲜果食用。种植后3～4年开花结果，平均株产115个，高产的可达200多个。
‘Wenye 2＇, a new cuhivar, is selected from ‘Malaya Yellowing Dwarf＇ by Coconut Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Tropic Agriculture Sciences. The trunk is dwarf, fruit is yellow in color, coconut milk is sweet, coconut meat is soft. The average yield is about 1 725 -3 000 nut·hm^-2. It comes into blossom 3 -4 years after planting, and could be planted in Hainan province, and the best areas are south and east of Hainan island.
