摘要
本文以莫里森的五部代表小说为研究对象，结合文本分析，着重探讨了她在作品中所体现的美国社会中白人对黑人实行的意识形态和文化渗透及其严重后果。莫里森通过解构只反映白人价值观的“镜子”来唤醒黑人的主体意识，帮助他们重新树立起民族的自尊心和自信心，从而构建新的生存空间。
With textual analysis this paper delves into Morrison＇ s five representative novels which best reveal the whites＇ ideological and cultural penetration into the blacks in American society and its severe consequences. Through deconstruction of the ＂mirror＂ which merely reflects the white values, Morrison aims to arouse the blacks＇ consciousness and help them reestablish their national confidence and self-esteem so as to construct a whole new world for black existence.
