摘要
近年来,认知语言学的发展,正日益显示出对人类语言独特的解释力,将认知科学和认知语言学的理论应用于文学语篇的分析所形成的认知文体学,也已经正式成为文体学领域的新成员。图形与背景理论是认知文体学的重要组成部分,用该理论对文学文本的阐释,已在西方取得一定的成果。本文在简要介绍图形—背景理论的基础上,尝试用该理论对矛盾先生的名篇《白杨礼赞》进行了文体和话语分析,从而验证了用该理论对文本强大的阐释力和解读汉语文本的可行性,结论同时指出了其有待完善之处。
The rising of cognitive linguistics has been proving itself strong in interpreting languages and people's use of languages. Cognitive stylistics, based on the cognitive science and making use of theories provided by cognitive linguistics, has become a new promising member in the field of stylistics. The figure-back- ground theory, an important theory in cognitive stylistics, has been employed to interpret literary texts and ahs so far achieved much in the west. This paper, after a brief introduction to this theory, tentatively employs it to analyzing and interpreting the styles and discourses of Odes to White Poplars, a well-known Chinese essay by Mr. Mao-dun, who was an eminent Chinese writer. The analyses prove the strong interpreting power of the theory in stylistics and the feasibility of using it to interpret Chinese texts. The conclusion also points out the places to be perfected.
