摘要
语用学和语篇研究都曾被认为是一门独立的学科 ,甚至被认为彼此相互包容。本文对以上观点提出质疑 ,并从语用学和语篇研究的渊源、性质、研究对象三方面考察语用学和语篇研究的特点 ,指出语用学和语篇研究的关系不是相互独立 ,也不是相互包容。语用学和语篇研究之间存在着一种互动关系 ,二者相互兼容 。
Pragmatics and discourse studies have been viewed as independent fields respectively, each claiming its inclusion of the other. This viewpoint is challenged in the present article. Pragmatics and discourse studies, explored here in terms of the origin, the nature and the objects concerned, are found not to have relation of an independence of inclusion type, but a relation of interaction. Pragmatics and discourse studies are integrating with each other in their development.
