After 1980, Hawking had taken great interest in Quantum Cosmology. On the basis of study on the Big-bang Singularity in 1960s and on the Black-hole ＆ Quantum Gravitation in 1970s, he has outstanding contributions for the progress of Quantum Cosmology.
