摘要
翻译能力作为语言学习者听、说、读、写综合能力的最终体现,是素质教育理念中极为重要的概念。专业英语教学改革中,翻译教学则应该是重点改革对象。针对翻译教学中长期以来过度偏重机械的微观技能训练这一弊端,在英语专业翻译教学中应该重视宏观语言文化对比,在对学生进行翻译技能训练的同时,让学生在对比中认识中英文语言的宏观特征,在此基础上,学生才能够深刻理解并掌握中英文转化的规律。翻译教学中重视宏观语言对比能够丰富教学内容,拓展翻译教学的纬度,真正有益于思维创新能力的培养,从而提高翻译教学质量,优化教学效果。
Translation ability is a combinative representation of language learners' listening, speaking, reading and writing competence, hence it merits due attention in quality-oriented education reform. And in the reform of major English courses, translation teaching occupies a most important position. For rather a long time in translation teaching, excessive efforts have been devoted to mechanical micro skills training. This study proposes a shift to emphasizing macro languages comparison, which aims to expose to students the macro features of English and Chinese languages in comparison. Thus students could deepen their understanding of the laws how these two languages are mutually transferred. By doing this, teachers could hopefully enrich and enlarge their teaching horizon, which is also believed to be meaningful for cultivating students' creativity, enhancing teaching quality and optimizing teaching effects.
