摘要
在当今社会转型时期推动新世纪"新图书馆运动",重塑"图书馆精神",加强农村图书馆建设,不仅关乎我国图书馆事业的发展,而且与我国现代化建设,构建和谐社会、实施新农村建设息息相关。建设社会主义新农村不仅仅在于建造多少新村、多少别墅、多少公路,更在于人的思想文化素质的提高。因而,在社会主义新农村建设中更要突出重视农村的图书馆建设。
At this new century, ＂New Library Movement＂ , re-building ＂The Spirit of Library＂ , strengthening the rural society library construction will not only influence the national library development, but also closely reahe to modernization of our country, construction of a harmonious society and implementation of new rural society. The new rural society should not be measured only by number of new villages, villas and roads being built, the people＇ s ideology and literacy level should be highly improved as well. Therefore, it is crucial that we should emphasize the library construction in the rural area of China.
