Objective To realize the function and prognosis effect of continuous veno-venous hemofiltration (CVVH) to main organ through treating 32 patients with acute renal failure (ARF) complicated with multiple organ dysfunction by CVVH and improve tile nursing skill to rescue the patients. Methods Make a comparison to BUN, Scr and hemodynamics data before and after CVVH from 32 patients with ARF complicated with multiple organ dysfunction during the period from 2005 to 2006 in our hospital. Results CVVH is beneficial to improve the renal function of patients with severe ARF and correct electrolyte, furthermore, no side-effect to main organs such as heart and brain. The mortality on patients with severe ARF bases on seriousness of this disease. The clinical rescue technology and monitoring are very important in CVVH, which can ensure the quality of treatment and improve the survival rate.
