摘要
以这一历史时段内二者关系的变迁为切入点,从历史学研究的目的演变来廓清中国"新史学"发展道路与社会演变进程中互为映照的关系。
In modern China, with the aggravation of national crisis, New Historiography faced the problem whether ＂searching for truth＂ or ＂searching for utility＂ is the core object at its beginning. And after the discipline and specialization of history, the two objects tangled in the development of New Historiography. The article intends to review the changes of the two objects in historical research, and further to penetrate the inter - relations between the New Historiography＇s development and the social evolutions.
