摘要
教会小学教育是中国近代教会教育的有机组成部分,作为一种相对完整的办学类型与中国近代历史相伴随。教会小学在办学体制、课程、教材、教学方法及教师培训等方面形成了鲜明的特色,一方面带有殖民教育的宗教传播及西方文化价值观念的强行渗透,但同时也对中国传统小学教育向近代新式教育的转型、西方文化的传播以及有初步近代科学知识人才的培养产生了积极的作用。
As church primary education is a component of Chinese contemporary church education, it takes on special features in system, curriculum, textbooks, teaching methodology mixed with colonialism. However, it also plays a positive role in helping the traditional Chinese primary education to change into modern education, disseminating of the western civilization and training the educated with modern knowledge.
