摘要
本文依据对使用相同教材的上海四所重点院校和安徽四所普通院校的调查,通过定量和定性分析两类院校生源在英语基础、学习动机、态度、英语学习的环境资源以及对教材的反映等方面有多大程度的不同,说明普通院校教材过难,是导致普通院校大英课程"生态系统"失衡的主要原因,并提出建议和对策。
This paper tries to illustrate that unsuitable textbooks axe the main cause of "the ecological imbalance" in college English teaching, through dae quantitative and qualitative analysis of the differences in English level, motivation, attitude, study resource between the 2 group students who use the same textbooks in Shanghai and Anhui. And this paper also presents some suggestions on how to solve the problem.
