小说对话体现的是交际功能和语用意义,在翻译理解过程中,可以结合Levinson的新格莱斯会话含义理论,来合理推导会话含义和理解说话人的互动,提供翻译的标准;可以采用增词,增加超语言信息及其他技巧来帮助目标语读者推导语用含义,如实再现原小说的对话场景。
The dialogue in the fiction has communication function through conveyance of its pragmatic meaning. During the process of its translation, Levinson＇s New Grice CP Theory can be adopted to help infer the pragmatic meaning of the dialogue and the interaction between speakers. Additionally, amplification, adding paralinguistic features and other methods can be used to achieve the best conveyance of the pragmatic meaning.
