The optimized time-distributing of traffic signal absolutely becomes a potion of effective prescription, while the traffic jam like the ＂ileuses＂ of a patient is more and more serious. Modbus as a communication protocol is being applied by legion manufacturers. The paper mainly adopts Modbus communication protocol to the system of traffic sig- nal. And the traffic of road can be intelligent and be provided with a straightway and facilitative condition.
