摘要
从翻译学后结构主义即归化和异化策略的角度分析了当今武术术语从中文翻译成英语的的总体情况,从武术的文化内涵和武术本身具有的专业特点出发分析了采用归化和异化两种策略在武术术语翻译中的得失,得出了对武术术语的翻译不但要重视准确和顺达,还要充分考虑到武术术语本身的特点和翻译的目的。任何过度地单方面依赖异化策略或归化策略都是不可取的。
This paper reviewed the current Wushu terms＇ translation from the perspective of domestication and foreigrtization. By taking the cultural features and professional elements into consideration, the author found out some problems in Wushu terms translation which are respectively under the guidance of domestication and foreignization. Through careful analysis, the author concludes that any translation for Wushu terms can＇ t extremely or simply rely on either of the two strategies. Domestication and foreignization strategies should be wisely used after the deliberation upon the features of Wushu terms and the purposes for their translation.
