摘要
英语习语中含有动物词汇的语句很丰富。我们不仅要注意它们的字面意思,更要留意它们含义深广的象征意义。那是民族的文化历史背景、审美心理的不同而产生的一种永久性的文化积淀现象。文章从分析文化与语言的关系入手,通过列举英汉动物习语的不同表现形式和翻译方法来分析英汉动物习语中所反映的文化差异。
There are many English idioms included animals. We should not only pay attention to their superficial meaning, but also take note of their symbolic. It＇s a permanent enltural phenomenon emerged from the different people＇s enltural history background. Tiffs paper makes the cultural difference between Chinese and English animals＇ idioms through the manifestation and translation of the animals＇ idioms.
