摘要
韩非依存于法术思想而产生的修辞理论,充满了实用、功利的色彩。他认为,言说应合于“法”,应以功效判别其好坏优劣,应根据接受对象的心理、喜好有针对性地选择言说内容和方法。他特别重视事物的本质,反对雕饰,反对言辞的修饰。但他在文章中又非常注意措词造句,并运用了多种艺术化的修辞方法,使其字里行间又不乏文采。在法术思想的观照之下,韩非的修辞理论与修辞实践呈现出一定的矛盾性。
Hanfei' s theory of properness in rhetoric is practical. Hanfei thought that verbal language should be used properly, and its properness should be judged by its efficiency. The content and the expression of verbal language should change with the listeners' likes and dislikes. He attached great importance to the truth, meanwhile valuing the wording and rhetoric which graced his works.
