摘要
美国公立学校的变革与发展很大程度上得益于私营公司对教育的加盟。私营公司对教育的介入如今已成为推动公立学校变革的主要力量。在政府为公立学校变革提供强有力支持的大背景下,私营公司的参与为公立学校的变革注入了新鲜血液,因为无论在办学理念上还是在办学效益上,后者都为公立学校的变革提供了一个全新的视角。美国特许学校运动正是这种力量的推动下发展起来的典型。
There is one major power to push public school reform forward. It is the involving of the companies for profit. The support of government provides steady motive force for the public school reform. Meanwhile the involving of companies for profit injects fresh blood into it. It provides a new view for running a school, not only from idea but also from benefit. The charter school movement in the USA is thus typical case which this major power acts on.
