摘要
本文介绍了一种基于PXI总线的高速信号发生器的设计理论和实现方法,从硬件和软件两个方面详细介绍了系统的设计方法。该平台基于高速数模转换器MAX5887和高性能可编程逻辑器件VIRTEX-4SX35,可以实现500Msps的转换率和14位的分辨率;接口上采用PXI总线技术,采用PCI9054作为接口芯片;软件开发上采用DLL+API的模式,方便不同用户的定制。
This article introduced a design principles and implementation method of a high-speed signal generator based on PXI bus technology, It described the system composition from hardware and software. This platform is based on high-speed DAC MAX5887 and high performance FPGA-VIRTEX-4 SX35, and it realized 500Mhz update rate and 14 bit resolutions; PCI9054 are used as in- terface IC for PXI bus; DLL+API mode are used in software development, convenient for different user's customization.
