摘要
本文从教学实践出发,结合一定的理论思考,探讨了文化思维模式的差异对英语写作的影响。西方的思维模式是分析的、个体化的、客观的、普遍化的等;而东方的特点则可以概括为:综合的、整体化的、主观的、独特的等。这些差异对英文写作中的篇章结构、句法结构以及词项选择有着明显影响。对此影响的深入探讨,有利于学生写出相对纯正的英语作文。
On basis of teaching practice,in combination with theoretical considerations,the paper examines the influences of different cultural thinking models on English writing.Western thinking model is analytical,individualized,objective and universalized;while Eastern thinking model can be generalized as synthesized,integrated,subjective and unique.These differences have clear influences on textual structure,syntactic structure and choice of lexical items in English writing.With the deepened probing into the influences,students will be benefited in writing out idiomatic English compositions.
