摘要
地形模型的三维实时显示技术是虚拟现实的一项关键技术。地形模型的建立是地形三维仿真研究的重点之一。在现存的各种地形模型的生成方法中,利用地形位图建立地形模型的方法一经提出,便因其算法简单,形象直观,易于实现等特点日益得到重视并且广泛的应用于游戏制作和虚拟场景的构建等领域。基于地形位图图像,成功的建立了较大规模的地形模型,进行了纹理映射,结果真实感较强,并实现了实时交互的场景漫游。

In all the existent techniques to generate topography model, the method based on the bitmaps has got much attention because it is advanced for its simply arithmetic, intuitionistie visualization and easyness to realize. Now, it has been applied broad in the domain of game exploring and dummy scene constructing. In this paper, we generate large - scale topography model successfully based on the terrain bitmaps of mapped textures, the model is strong authenticity and is able to realize real -time scene cruising.
