摘要
近十多年是世界生物技术迅速发展时期。农业转基因动植物研究开发取得新进展,培育成功一批抗虫抗病、耐除草剂和高产、优质农作物新品种具有不同作用的转基因猪、羊新品种为发展高效益畜牧业带来利益。生物技术产品开发和基因治疗技术取得突破。生物技术产业化加快,下世纪初期将成为支柱产业之一。近两年,美、欧、日等发达国家政府制订了一些有利于生物技术发展的新政策和多方筹资进行生物技术基本建设。
Recent decade has been the period of rapid development of biotechnology in the world.Reseach development of agricultural transgenic animal and plant has achieved new ad- vances.A series of insect—resistant,disease—resistant,herbicide—tolerant and high—yield, good—quality new crop cultivars have been bred.New transgenic pigs and sheep with different purposes have also been bred,bringing high efficiency and benifits for the deveolpment of live- stock production.Major breakthroughs have been achived in biotechnology biologics and gene therapy technology.Biotechnology industry has had rapidy development and will become one of the pillar industries by the beginning of next centry.In the past two years U.S.,European coun- tries,Japan and other developed countries have formulated and have raised fund from various sources to conduct the capital construction of biotechnology.
