摘要
文章阐述了“自主学习”的概念和培养学生自主学习能力的必要性，提出了在英语教学中培养高职生自主学习能力的若干建议。培养学生自主学习能力，使其在完成正规的学校教育后能继续有效地学习，以适应复杂多变的社会的需要，具有很强的现实意义。文章阐述的观点，旨在为现代职业教育中英语教学工作的有效开展提供一定的参考。
It is important and meaningful to cultivate the ability of Autonomous Learning for college students because they have to continue their studies after graduation and to adapt to the complex society. The article introduces the concept of Autonomous Learning, points out the necessity of cultivation of Autonomous Learning and gives some suggestions on how to cultivate the ability of Autonomous Learning. The viewpoints of this article can provide certain references for the development of English teaching in modem vocation education.
