摘要 对流层散射通信以其独特的魅力广泛应用于世界军事通信领域。2006年8月美国三大公司利用TM-20新型高速散射调制解调器成功地联合演示了传输速率高达40Mbps的Ku波段散射超视距通信试验,这一重大里程碑事件再次掀起了散射通信研究的新热潮。对数字对流层散射通信技术的发展动向展开了综述,重点针对TM-20的技术体制和应用进行了分析点评,给出了大容量散射传输适于近距离通信应用的工程结论。 Troposcatter communication is used for worldwide military applications with its unique charm. Three great corporations of USA announced in August 2006 that they had reached another milestone by successfully employing new high-speed TM-20 troposcatter modem to establish an industry-first 40 Mbps Ku band over-the-horizon link in a demonstration, which arouses a new upsurge on the research of troposcatter communications.The paper makes a summarization of the developments of digital troposcatter communication technology, puts a special emphasis on the technical system and applications of the TM-20 troposcatter modem, and arrives at a conclusion that big capacity troposcatter transmission is suitable for close range usage.
