摘要
目的:探讨基质金属蛋白酶-9(MMP-9)的表达与口腔鳞癌细胞增殖活性和转移的关系。方法:采用免疫组织化学SP法检测40例口腔鳞状细胞癌标本中MMP-9及Ki-67的表达。结果:MMP-9在口腔鳞癌中的表达与淋巴结转移、TNM分期密切相关(P<0.05),而与患者的年龄、性别、肿瘤分化程度无关(P>0.05)。有淋巴结转移、TNM分期为III+IV期者MMP-9的表达分别明显高于无淋巴结转移、TNM分期为I+II期者(P<0.05)。口腔鳞癌中MMP-9与Ki-67的表达呈正相关(r=0.348,P<0.05)。结论:MMP-9在口腔鳞癌细胞的增殖和转移中起重要作用,可作为判断口腔鳞癌恶性潜能的生物学指标。
Objective:To investigate the expression of matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) and its correlation with cancer cell proliferation and metastasis in oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC). Methods: Immunohistochemical SP method was used to detect the expression of MMP-9 and Ki457 in 40 cases of OSCC. Results:The expression of MMP- 9 was closely correlated with lymph nodes metastasis and TNM stage of OSCC ( P 〈 0.05). There was no significant corretation between MMP-9 expression and gender, age or tumor differentiation( P 〉0.05). In cases with lymph nodes metastasis and TNM stage Ⅲ + Ⅳ, Ihe expression of MMP-9 was significantly higher than that in no lymph nodes metastasis and TNM stage Ⅰ + Ⅱ(P 〈 0.05 ). A positive correlation was found between the expression of M MP-9 and Ki-67 in OSCC (r = 0. 348, P 〈 0.05 ). Conclusion:The expression of MMP-9 may play an important role in cancer cell proliferation and metastasis nf OSCC, and can be considered as a biological indicator of malignant potential of OSCC.
