在家具产业竞争日益激烈的今天,发现全新的产品,开辟新市场将使得家具厂商挣脱原有市场,获得一片新天地。基于使用者研究的新的家具研究帮助美国的厂商做到了这一点。通过介绍美国伊利诺理工学院的设计学院的设计研究新方法——人种志,希望为中国的设计师和家具产业带来一定的参考。
It is very hard to make profit on the existing market if a furniture company follows the traditional way to design. User research can bring de.signers and companies innovation and new markets with high profit. As a new methodology, ethnography is introduced to Chinese furniture market. It is applied and developed in American by ID (Institute of Design) of liT (Institute of IllinOis tcchnology).
