摘要 怎样教授历史?教师是致力于尽可能多地向学生传输史实?还是致力于让学生批判性地学习历史?美国社会曾长期辩论这一问题。既然社会学科的宗旨在于“帮助青年人——一个相互依存世界中的、多元化的民主社会的公民——提高为公共利益明达而理性地决策的能力”,社会学科教育家普遍认为:教师应当知道如何批判思维和如何教会学生批判思维。历史教学的主要目标之一就是发展学生的批判思维能力。
