摘要
本文对第二代图象压缩方法之一的轮廓纹理编码进行了研究。工作分为三个方面:预处理、轮廓编码和纹理压缩及后处理。结果表明,本研究工作提高了轮廓纹理编码的压缩能力,简化了其实现难度。当压缩比高达62:1时恢复的图象仍然较好。
A study has been done on contour-texture coding--one of the second-generationimage coding techniques. The work is composed of three parts: preprocessing, contour coding, texture compression and postprocessing. Experimental results indicate that the work has increased the compresion efficiency of contour texture coding and facilitated its implementation. When the compression ratio is as high as 62: 1, the restored image is still visually good.
