摘要
目的:总结近年来炙手可热的新兴材料碳纳米管在医学领域中的应用现状,并展望其将来在该领域的应用前景。方法:应用计算机检索Medline2000-01/2006-01关于碳纳米管在生物医学方面应用的相关文章。检索词“carbonnanotubes,medicine”并限定文章的语种类为English。同时利用计算机检索中国期刊全文数据库2000-01/2006-01的相关文章,限定文章语言种类为中文,检索范围限定为核心期刊,检索词“碳纳米管,生物医学”。结果:碳纳米材料能促进骨组织修复生长,促进神经再生,减少神经组织瘢痕产生。高强度碳纳米管可在养料、药品供给系统与细胞之间形成圆筒形的渠道,输送肽、蛋白质、质粒DNA或寡核苷酸等物质。应用碳纳米管特有的纳米结构对生物传感器的检测结果有放大作用,提高了传感器的检测限和灵敏度。结论:碳纳米材料具有较高的稳定性和良好的生物相容性,在生物医学领域将发挥更大的作用。
AIM: In this article, we highlights the employment of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) in the field of biomedicine recently and also concludes with an outline of potential future applications for CNTs in biology and medicine.
METHODS: Using the terms of "carbon nanotubes and medicine", we searched the MEDLINE database to identify the related studies published in English from January 2000 to January 2006. We also searched the Chinese key periodical database with restriction of the same time range. The search terms were carbon nanotubes and biomedicine.
RESULTS: CNTs can improve bone repair and neuronal growth, decrease the development of scars in neuronal tissues, CNTs of high intensity are mainly focused on the interactions of aliment, drug supply and biological molecules, such as DNA, peptides, proteins and oligonucleotide etc. CNTs are also promising materials for sensing applications due to their special nanostructure and good properties.
CONCLUSION: CNTs will play a more important role in biomedicine due to their unique properties such as high stability and biocompatibility.
