摘要
利用粉煤灰、铝矾土、碳化硅为原料,在1 450℃下烧结制备了莫来石-SiC复合材料,采用XRD、SEM等手段研究了莫来石-SiC复合材料的性能、物相和显微形貌。结果表明:当混合料M(其中Al/Si=1.0,摩尔比)=10%,所得材料的显气孔率、吸水率最小,分别为16.09%和6.27%,抗折强度和体积密度最大,分别为46.7MPa和2.57g/cm3;此时,构成材料的主要晶相为SiC、莫来石和刚玉,莫来石的相对含量达到最大值,为38.99%。SEM分析表明,生成的莫来石和刚玉镶嵌在SiC中间,当M=10%,莫来石呈现网状小球体的形态。
Mullite-SiC composite materials were made from fly ash, bauxite and SiC, and the properties, phase and morphology of the synthesized materials were studied by XRD and SEM in detail. The results showed that the optimum material properties can be obtained when M(Al/Si=1.0, molar ratio) =10%, the obtained materials own the following excellent properties and performance: apparent porosity 16.09%, water absorption 6.27%, flexural strength 46.7MPa, the bulk density 2.57g/cm^3; and the main phases are SiC, mullite and corundum; the relative content of mullite are 38.99%. SEM analysis results indicated that mullite and corundum are inlayed in the matrix of SiC, and mullite exists in the shape of reticular-like ball when M= 10%.
