摘要
回形纹是古今中外装饰图案中非常流行的一种,最初应源于旋涡纹,具有延绵不断、亘古不变的含义。共工是中国古代的水官和传说中水患的祸首,其角色的转变应该和尧舜时期共工的名字康回有关。远古时期的水崇拜是回纹流行和中国关于共工的诸多传说出现的主要原因。
Fret is a very popular decorative art that originally derives from vortex pattern and signifies continuity and universal presence. Gong Gong is the water god in ancient Chinese historiography and the devil of floods, and its change of role dates back to the Rao Xun Dynasty. The worship for water in ancient times explains the popularity of fret and the many legends that relate to the trend of fret at that time.
