摘要
探讨语境在翻译中的重要作用,指出翻译中的选词在很大程度上受语境的制约,提出直接语境和间接语境是语义理解和选词的重要依据。
This paper discusses the importance of context in translation. It points out that the meaning of a word in translation is determined by the given context and that the meaning of words should be chosen according to the direct context and/or indirect context.
