摘要
苏石林是对中国近现代声乐教育产生过极大影响的外国人,但由于特殊的历史原因,研究他的资料既少又散。笔者出于专业所需和兴趣所致,特地拜访了曾跟随苏石林学习了10年声乐的中国著名歌唱家、教育家温可铮教授,并在搜集了众多歌唱家回忆录等文献的基础上,概述了苏石林的生平简历、声乐艺术造诣、培养中国人才的情况,力求对苏石林在中国从事声乐教学活动及其对中国声乐教育的影响进行较客观的评述。
Sushilin is a foreigner who has made a great influence on modem vocal music education in China. Due to special historical reasons, there has not been so much information about him. The writer, because of work and personal interest, visited Professor Wen Kezheng, a Chinese famous vocalist and educationist who studied vocal music under Sushilin for ten years. Based on studies of memoirs of many singers, the writer, in this paper, first makes a general introduction of Sushilin＇ s life experience, including his artistic attainments in vocal music and contributions made in training Chinese talents, and then, makes objective comments on his teaching activities and his influence on vocal music education in China.
