未来五年,天津将成为中国经济发展的重心,高调出场的滨海新区无疑在各方面都引人注目,而近期批准的人民币资本项目可自由兑换试点,更是一大亮点。虽然此次改革还不算完全意义地实现资本项目下可自由兑换,但这一小步,却的确是我们迈向“自由”的一大步。我们有理由预期,此次改革以及今后进一步的改革将给企业带来许多惊喜。
In the coming 5 years, Tianjin will become a new highlight of China's economic development. The high-profile Binhai New Area (BNA) of Tianjin will undoubtedly attract more eyeballs in all dimensions. At the beginning of September 2006, the State Administration of Foreign Exchange approved 7 new policies on foreign exchange to be implemented in BNA Tianjin. These new incentives have, to some extent, increased the opening of capital account and relaxed regulations of outbound capital, paving the way for the realization of the RMB convertibility under the capital account. Though the reform does not mean a full RMB convertibility, this initiative marks a real big stride towards “freedom”.
