摘要
细化后的字符图像可以看作是一幅连通图,从图论的观点出发,在对车牌末尾三位数字字符图像识别中,选择闭合曲线作为其整体特征,将笔画端点所处字符图像中子区域的位置做为主要的细节特征,对车牌数字字符进行识别。试验结桌表明该方案是可行的和有效的。
A thinned image is viewed as a graph. In the procession of image recognition of three digital characters on the end of a vehicle license plate, the author of the paper selects closed curves as integrate features of those character images, makes the subregion where the end of last drawing of numbers locate of the character images as the major specific features, and then recognizes the digital character of the vehicle license plate. The experiment results shows that the proposed approach is practical and effective.
