摘要
对语言教学中文化的重要性正取得越来越广泛的共识。语言中的文化要素涉及社会、政治、经济、教育、意识形态等各方面,对语言教学构成了多维度、多层次的复杂制约因素。经过多年交际教学法的实践,越来越多的英语教师逐渐意识到语言体系内的习得所囿于的局限性,并且不再满足于对语言纯功能性的使用,而是赞同在传统的交际技能习得中注入具有人文特征和不同地域知识的文化内容,从而增加了民族语言和民族文化之间的联系纽带,促成了语言教学文化化的发展趋势。
The view on the important role of culture in language teaching and learning is coming to more and more consensus. The cultural components of language involve such factors as society, politics, economics, education and ideology that are combined to form a complex multidimensional and multitiered restriction on language teaching and learning. After years of communication approach, more and more English teachers turn to the view in favor of adding humanistic and geographic cultural contents to traditional communication techniques when they become dissatisfied with pure functional uses of language and aware of their limit to the acquisition within the language system, thus strengthening the ties between national languages and national cultures, and enhancing the trend towards the culturalization of language teaching and learning.
