慢性乙肝病毒(HBV)感染是原发性肝癌(HCC)发生发展的一个主要的危险因素。乙型肝炎病毒X蛋白(HBx)与HCC的形成密切相关,其反式激活功能被认为是HBV与HCC关联的主要因素。HBx的自然突变普遍存在于肝癌患者中,HBx突变在HCC中可能起关键作用。
Chronic infection by hepatitis B virus (HBV) is the leading cause of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The viral transactivator HBV X (HBx) gene is human closely associated with the molecular pathogenesis of HBV-related HCC, and transactivating function of HBx is considered to be a major cause involved in the development of the HBV-related HCC. Natural muhations of HBx protein are common feature in tumor tissue from the HBV-related HCC case. The mutantion of HBx gene may play a critical role in the pathogenesis of HBV-related HCC.
