摘要
尽管徐悲鸿一生致力于中国画的改良,也始终坚持用中国画的工具材料和形式语言,创作了大量的中国画人物画、花鸟动物画、山水(风景)画,但“徐悲鸿的笔墨”这一话题却从未有人专门谈过。本文从徐悲鸿改良中国画的角度,主要通过作品的研究,试对徐悲鸿的笔墨实践作具体分析。
Though devoted his whole life to the reform of Chinese painting, Xu Beihong consistently insisted in using Chinese materials and formal language, thus creating a huge number of painting of Chinese people, flowers, birds, animals, mountains and rivers. But the topic of “Xu Beihong’s Brush” has never been mentioned. This paper, based on the study of his works, analyses the brush practice of Xu Beihong whose features can be generalized into two.1. the choice and reform of traditional brush-selecting, discarding and reforming the Chinese formal devices and absorbing some elements from Western painting; and 2. integrating sketches into his brush, making his brush more scientific and realistic, but no hindrance to the general effect of his brush, and this is the so-called Xu Beihong’s brush with sketches in it.
